Georgetown University School of Medicine seeks Standardized Patients to simulate patient scenarios for medical student education and assessment. SPs portray cases with realism and provide feedback, schedule-based work, and adherence to confidentiality policies.

On-campus work is designated, with flexible hours depending on course schedules. Applicants should have a high school diploma and computer proficiency; prior SP or health-professional experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Simulate all aspects of patient scenarios, including history, affect and physical findings, accurately and reliably.
• Provide verbal feedback to learners using constructive feedback training.
• Be comfortable with repeated physical examination maneuvers performed by learners and faculty.
• Be audio- and video-taped during simulations (on-campus and virtually) and demonstrate technical competency.
