Job summary

Georgetown University School of Medicine is seeking a part-time Standardized Patient for the Medical Center to support medical student education through simulated patient scenarios. The SP will portray cases, provide feedback, and participate in on-campus and virtual sessions, with confidentiality and professional standards emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Computer proficiency.
• Prior experience as a standardized patient, health professional, instructor or actor (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Simulate patient scenarios for medical students with realism and accuracy.
• Provide verbal feedback to learners using constructive feedback training.
• Be on-campus and/or on Zoom, and comfortable with being audio- and video-taped during simulations.
• Accurately and consistently complete checklists for each session, aiming for high accuracy.
• Flexible scheduling to align with course schedules, typically Weekdays.
