Job summary

Northwestern University in Chicago seeks a Standardized Patient (SP) Educator for NU Simulation. You will recruit, train, and manage SPs, and ensure quality feedback for medical students within Feinberg School of Medicine’s curriculum.

You will coordinate SP events, maintain confidentiality, and contribute to research activities while using CAE Learning Space and Office 365 tools to support schedules and assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in theater, fine arts, or education.
• 2+ years of experience as a Standardized Patient.
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience in training, coaching, and delivering high-quality customer service.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, audition, hire, and onboard Standardized Patients with diverse pools and maintain SP databases.
• Cast, train, and educate SPs in case portrayal and feedback per trainer guidelines.
• Develop proficiency with CAE Learning Space for schedules, SP database, and testing permissions.
• Set up, execute, and break down SP events with full coverage and on-site guidance.
• Observe SP performance and provide feedback; prepare accuracy reports after assessments.
