Job summary

Howard University College of Medicine is seeking Standardized Patients to simulate medical scenarios and teach clinical skills. SPs will be trained prior to participation and may be physically examined by students within a learning context.

Work hours vary with course schedules and SPs are limited to 58 hours per pay period, with a minimum of 25 hours per pay period. The role requires professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to provide constructive feedback to learners.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be of legal status to work in the US.
• Must be computer literate and proficient.
• Initial HU Introduction to Standardized Methodology workshop for scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Simulate all aspects of scenarios with realism and accuracy.
• Complete checklists with 95% accuracy.
• Provide verbal feedback to learners.
