Job summary

ESPEC North America is seeking an Assembly Technician for our Standard Final Assembly Department in a clean, structured environment. You will mount and wire assemblies, read schematics and prints, and follow standard work instructions to ensure quality builds.

The role offers a 4-day work week with some overtime on Fridays, no mandatory weekends, and opportunities for advancement within a company focused on reliability testing solutions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Computer skills, including the use of tablet, required.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide required.
• Ability to read a tape measure required.
• Ability to use small hand tools and power tools required.
• Experience with electrical wiring required.
• Ability to read electrical schematics required.
• Ability to build using electrical, plumbing, & fabrication drawings, required.
• 1 year of experience with industrial manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mounts and wires assemblies.
• Calculates box and conduit fill.
• Utilizes standard work instructions to complete assemblies.
• Understands ladder schematics and builds according to prints.
• Understands part numbers, locations, and descriptions.
• Daily use of hand tools such as drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, and knives.
• Frequently reads a tape measure.
• Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.

We are currently hiring an Assembler for our Standard Final Assembly Department. Hours:

Full-time, 6:00am-4:30pm M-TH, some Friday OT.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Mounts and wires assemblies.
• Calculates box and conduit fill.
• Utilizes standard work instructions to complete assemblies.
• Understands ladder schematics and builds according to prints.
• Understands part numbers, locations, and descriptions.
• Daily use of hand tools such as drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, and knives.
• Frequently reads a tape measure.
• Cuts wire, runs seal tight.
• May perform brazing duties, only after on-site training has been provided.
• Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
• Regular physical attendance is required.
• Understands and abides by the Guiding Principles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
