ESPEC North America Inc. in Hudsonville, MI is seeking an assembler for the Standard Final Assembly Department. Join a clean environment with a 4-day work week and occasional overtime on Friday; no mandatory weekend work.

Hours are 6:00am–4:30pm, Monday through Thursday, with some Friday overtime. The role focuses on mounting and wiring assemblies, following standard work instructions, and reading prints and part numbers.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with electrical wiring preferred.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics.
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing preferred.

We are currently hiring an Assembler for our Standard Final Assembly Department. Hours: Full-time, 6:00am-4:30pm M-TH, some Friday OT.

Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Mounts and wires assemblies.
  • Calculates box and conduit fill.
  • Utilizes standard work instructions to complete assemblies.
  • Understands ladder schematics and builds according to prints.
  • Understands part numbers, locations, and descriptions.
  • Daily use of hand tools such as drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, and knives.
  • Frequently reads a tape measure.
  • Cuts wire, runs seal tight.
  • May perform brazing duties, only after on-site training has been provided.
  • Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
  • Regular physical attendance is required.
  • Understands and abides by the Guiding Principles.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Skills and Experience
  • Computer skills, including the use of tablet, required.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide required.
  • Ability to read a tape measure required.
  • Ability to use small hand tools and power tools required.
  • Experience with electrical wiring required.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics required.
  • Ability to build using electrical, plumbing, & fabrication drawings, required.
  • 1 year of experience with industrial manufacturing preferred.
