Job summary

Kenco Logistics, LLC in Rockford, IL is seeking a Forklift Operator I to safely operate powered industrial equipment and move goods within a warehouse environment. You will load and unload, stack, and transport materials, and perform scanning and label printing as part of daily distribution tasks.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of forklift experience, a valid forklift license or ability to obtain one, and a commitment to safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years prior forklift operating experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.
• Pass Background and Drug screen
• Basic computer skills
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts and related equipment to move products for distribution.
• Load, unload, and store products and materials as needed.
• Stack and transport materials to designated areas.
• Use equipment to scan products and print labels.
• Complete paperwork and operate inventory systems.
• Follow product rotation procedures and perform cycle counts.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and keep the facility inspection-ready for audits.
• Report incidents to supervisor and assist with housekeeping tasks.
