Job summary

Kenco Logistics is hiring a Forklift Operator in Illinois to safely operate powered industrial equipment, load/unload, and prepare shipments for distribution. You will use scanners, perform cycle counts, and follow safety protocols to support SQFI, FDA, and customer readiness.

The role requires at least two years of forklift experience, a valid forklift license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background and drug screening. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Two years of forklift operating experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Pass Background and Drug screen.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Powered Industrial equipment to move products or materials for distribution.
• Load, unload, and store products and/or materials.
• Stack and transport materials and products to designated areas.
• Use equipment to scan product and print labels.
• Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems as needed.
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed.
• Complete cycle counts as required.
• Perform daily safety inspections per the Safety Checklist on forklift trucks.
• Ensure facility is inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• Report incidents to supervisor.
• May perform housekeeping duties.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
