Job summary

Kenco Group in Rockford, IL is seeking a Forklift Operator I to safely operate powered industrial equipment and support shipping/receiving operations. You will move, load, unload, and stack goods, update inventory systems, and maintain safety and quality standards in a fast-paced Warehouse setting.

Requirements include at least two years of forklift experience or a valid forklift license, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background and drug screens.

Qualifications

• Two years forklift operating experience or licensed forklift operator
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Pass background and drug screen
• Basic computer skills
• Attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment to move products for distribution
• Load, unload, and store products and materials
• Stack and transport materials to designated areas
• Use equipment to scan products and print labels
• Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems
• Ensure product rotation procedures are followed
• Complete cycle counts as required
• Perform daily forklift safety inspections
• Maintain inspection readiness for SQFI, FDA, and customers
• Report incidents to supervisor
• May perform housekeeping duties
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor
