Job summary

Harlan Bakeries LLC in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Stand Up Forklift Operator to move product lines and maintain proper rotation. You will load trailers, operate a stand-up forklift, and ensure pallets are tagged and stored correctly.

You will document production logs, scan inventory, and assist with shipments while upholding SQF, GMP, and safety standards. A high school diploma, 3 months production experience, and the ability to obtain forklift certification are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ months experience in production/manufacturing/distribution.
• Must speak/read/write English.
• Able to obtain forklift certification.
• Able to handle pallets up to 60 lb. and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Follow and comply with all SQF and GMP guidelines.
• Maintain safety and zero-injury focus.
• Load trailers with pallets and operate stand-up forklift.
• Ensure pallets are tagged properly with color codes and tickets.
• Accurately locate/store product in racks.
• Document production logs and scan inventory.
• Deliver skids to designated areas and stage product for floor.
• Assist in loading/unloading trucks as needed.
• Maintain equipment and work area.
• Report problems to supervisor immediately.
• Assist with month/year end inventory and cross-department communication.
• Comply with regulatory agencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
