Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Minster, Ohio is seeking a Permanent Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join a safety-focused warehouse team. The role offers base pay of $23/hour with a $0.50 raise after 6 months and again after 1 year, plus overtime at $34.50/hour and productivity incentives.

Weekly pay, paid training, and a $1,000 sign-on bonus are part of the package. Shifts are 11 hours, with 44–55 hours per week and a 2-month schedule provided in advance for planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Follow contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in warehouse environments (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production hours.
