Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Permanent Stand-Up Forklift Operator in Minster, Ohio. The role involves warehouse tasks including forklift operation, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving, with flexible 44-55 hour weeks and block shifts.

Earn base pay of $23/hr with increases after 6 months and 1 year; overtime at $34.50/hr and productivity incentives up to $10/hr. Benefits include weekly pay, paid training, medical/dental/vision/401(k) started at 30 days, PTO up to 80 hours in year one,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to be a team player and able to work within a diverse work environment.
• Punctual and have a good attendance record.
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision.
• Possesses initiative and accuracy under pressure.
• Able to lift and push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Flexible schedule on various shifts.
• Detail oriented with follow-up practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Operate within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hours.
