Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Minster, OH is seeking a Permanent Stand-Up Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This position offers weekly pay with base pay starting at $23 per hour, overtime incentives, and a sign-on option, with shifts typically covering 44–55 hours per week.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting, plus contributing to a safe, organized environment. Benefits and training are provided, and attendance is rewarded.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment.
• Must be punctual with good attendance.
• Able to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Work within contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Ensure accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Process day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse setting (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during shift hours.
• Other duties as assigned.
