Job summary

Lineage Logistics is hiring for a stand-up reach forklift role in Hobart, Indiana. You will move products, equipment, and materials while following all safety standards and company policies.

Tasks include putting away and picking palletized units, recording weights and counts via RF, and performing daily forklift checks. Responsibilities also cover loading/unloading, battery maintenance, and coordinating with other equipment.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand instructions in the country’s official language.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage while wearing PPE.

Responsibilities

• Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height.
• Pick palletized units out of rack locations above floor height and set up for outbound shipment.
• Choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via RF system.
• Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheet.
• Monitor battery charge, maintain and clean batteries, and leave equipment at the charging station.
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.
