Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a forklift operator to efficiently move products and materials in a temperature-controlled environment. You will perform lifts, place pallets on racks, and prepare items for outbound shipment while following all safety standards and procedures.

The role requires basic math, the ability to follow written and spoken instructions in English, and comfort with varying temperatures and noisy workplaces. A valid lift operation capability and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand instructions in English or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs; weight may be more depending on facility.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, can be loud at times.

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up reach forklift to move products, equipment, and materials.
• Put away palletized units by lifting forks into racks above floor height.
• Pick palletized units from rack locations above floor height for outbound shipment.
• Record materials, weights, counts, and item condition via RF system.
• Load and unload materials on/off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheets and monitor battery charge.
