The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in stamping, welding, or metal fabrication.
• Knowledge of stamping dies, tooling, and GD&T.
• Familiarity with PFMEA, control plans, and IATF/APQP documentation.
• Knowledge of stamping dies, MIG/resistance/robotic welding, tooling and GD&T.
• Experience with problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and process optimization.
• Familiarity with PFMEA, control plans, and IATF/APQP documentation.
• Strong communication skills and hands-on approach on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Support daily stamping and welding operations.
• Troubleshoot production issues involving tooling and equipment.
• Optimize stamping and welding processes for new and existing parts.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and tool & die teams.
• Support new launches, engineering changes, and process documentation.
• Contribute to automation, continuous improvement, and capital equipment projects.

Stamping & Welding Engineer

We’re looking for a motivated Stamping & Welding Engineer with a few years of experience—ideally in Tier 1 automotive—to support stamping, welding, and metal fabrication operations. This is a high‑impact, hands‑on role with a clear path to leadership for someone ready to grow quickly.

What You’ll Do

• Support daily stamping and welding operations to improve quality, throughput, and safety
• Troubleshoot production issues involving tooling, dies, weld parameters, fixtures, and equipment
• Optimize stamping and welding processes for new and existing parts
• Lead root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions to reduce scrap and downtime
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and tool & die teams
• Support new launches, engineering changes, and process documentation
• Contribute to automation, continuous improvement, and capital equipment projects

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in stamping, welding, or metal fabrication
• Tier 1 automotive + IATF 16949 experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of stamping dies, MIG/resistance/robotic welding, tooling, and GD&T
• Experience with problem‑solving, root‑cause analysis, and process optimization
• Familiarity with PFMEA, control plans, and other IATF/APQP documentation
• Strong communication skills and a hands‑on approach on the production floor
