Job summary

Software Placement Group (SPG) seeks a Stamping Press Room Manager to lead all production activities in the press room, directing day-to-day operations to meet schedules, quality standards, and cost targets. You will drive safety, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role emphasizes leadership of supervisors and stamping teams, scheduling, and adherence to continuous improvement goals while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of stamping/press room leadership experience.
• New Program Launch experience required.
• Experience with IATF / ISO requirements.
• Strong continuous improvement and lean manufacturing knowledge with proven results.
• Effective and professional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Production Supervisors, Shift Superintendents, and team members.
• Establish and meet objectives for production, quality, and plant safety standards.
• Monitor processes to ensure timetables and objectives are met.
• Collaborate with support staff to ensure materials, quality, accounting, and personnel needs are met to avoid interruptions.
• Evaluate production requirements and determine production schedules.
• Identify, implement, and verify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Develop, institute, and maintain safe and efficient work practices and facilities.
• Stay current on safety requirements to maintain an injury-free plant operation.
