Premier Global Links LLC in Ripon, WI seeks an experienced Press Tech Group Leader to drive stamping operations, improve performance, and develop a high-performing production team. This on-site leadership role requires 5+ years in stamping or manufacturing and strong tool and die knowledge.

Lead SMED initiatives, process optimization, preventive maintenance, and daily metrics to meet safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals.

Qualifications

5+ years of stamping or manufacturing experience.
Leadership experience in manufacturing environments.
Strong tool and die principles and practices.
Experience with SMED and process improvement initiatives.
Ability to coach and develop teams.
Proficiency with data analysis and problem solving.
Ability to work across shifts and with unions (if applicable).

Responsibilities

Lead daily stamping operations to meet safety, quality, productivity, and delivery goals.
Optimize stamping processes and troubleshoot tooling, equipment, and production issues.
Apply tool and die knowledge to identify problems and implement effective solutions.
Partner with Engineering and Design teams to improve dies, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
Lead SMED initiatives to reduce die changeover time and improve production efficiency.
Identify opportunities to reduce waste, inventory, and work in process through continuous improvement.
Develop and oversee preventive maintenance programs for stamping equipment and tooling.
Monitor production metrics and use data to drive operational improvements.
Lead manufacturing improvement projects from planning through implementation.
Develop project plans, coordinate resources, and track schedules, budgets, and results.
Coach, mentor, and develop team members through regular feedback, goal setting, and performance management.
Conduct team meetings and promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and servant leadership.
Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Safety, Tool Room, Maintenance, and other technical teams.
Establish annual goals aligned with operational and production metrics.
Support employee relations matters and work with Union Stewards regarding contract and disciplinary issues.
Promote safe work practices and compliance with manufacturing and safety standards.
