Job summary

NIC Global Manufacturing Solutions in Gallatin, TN is hiring for a Regular Full-Time Direct position. The role involves operating stamping press machines, setting up dies, and performing punching, shearing, blanking, and forming according to specifications.

This on-site role pays $20.00 to $22.00 per hour with a weekend shift premium. Candidates should have a high school education, basic math, blueprint reading, and be able to read instructions in English; overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Load coils using overhead hoist.
• Maintain equipment and keep work area clean.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $22.00 Hourly

Weekend Shift premium added on top of base pay.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Set ups, adjusts and operates stamping press machines to produce parts in accordance with specifications.
• Sets, aligns and secures dies, sets ram stroke, etc. to perform such operations as punching, shearing, blanking, and forming.
• Responsible for setting up progressive stamping tools including the feeder.
• Use of overhead hoist to load coils.
• Works with minimal supervision.
• Responsible for general maintenance of equipment.
• Responsible for housekeeping of work area.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school level education or equivalent and specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job.
• Basic math knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Understanding of basic computer PC.
• Able to read and interpret instructions in English.
• Must be willing to work overtime.

PHYSCIAL DEMANDS

Ability to lift 50lbs with or without accommodations.

Ability to stand for 12 hour shift (with breaks).
