Job summary

NIC Global is seeking a Brake Operator (Machine Operator) for the night shift in Gallatin, TN. The role operates a press brake/CNC controls, loads/unloads tooling, and performs routine maintenance during production runs.

The candidate must read blueprints, have basic math skills, and be comfortable using a PC. Overtime is required, and night shift includes a $2.00/hr premium. This position supports a diverse manufacturing environment with strong growth opportunities.

Regular Full-Time Direct Gallatin, TN, US

Salary Range: $20.00 To $22.00 Hourly

Press Brake Operator Position - Night Shift (4:40 pm to 3:10 am; M-TH)

Night shift offers a $2.00 per hour shift premium.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Operates press brake and machine control (CNC) for simple routine setups.
• Loads and unloads tools.
• Operates the machine control.
• Responsible for routine maintenance of machine, and secondary operations during production.
• Must be able to verify quality using measurement instruments (calipers, protractors, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school level education or equivalent and specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job.
• Basic math knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Understanding of basic computer PC.
• Must be willing to work overtime.

PHYSCIAL DEMANDS

Ability to lift 50lbs with or without accommodations.

Ability to stand for 10 hour shift (with breaks).
