Job summary

NIC Global in Gallatin, TN is seeking a Weekend Shift Press Brake Operator to run and program basic CNC-controlled equipment on Sundays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 5:00 am to 5:30 pm. Weekend premium applies on top of base pay.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $22.00 Hourly

Press Brake Operator Position - Weekend Shift (Sun, Fri., Sat. 5:00 am - 5:30 pm)

Weekend Shift premium added on top of base pay.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Operates press brake and machine control (CNC) for simple routine setups.
• Loads and unloads tools.
• Operates the machine control.
• Responsible for routine maintenance of machine, and secondary operations during production.
• Must be able to verify quality using measurement instruments (calipers, protractors, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school level education or equivalent and specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job.
• Basic math knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Understanding of basic computer PC.
• Must be willing to work overtime.

PHYSCIAL DEMANDS

Ability to lift 50lbs with or without accommodations.

Ability to stand for 10 hour shift (with breaks).
