Charter Manufacturing invites you to join the stamping team in Milwaukee as a Stamping Operator on the first shift (6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.). You will operate stamping machines, inspect parts with precision measuring tools, and participate in routine maintenance to keep production moving.

The role emphasizes quality and teamwork in a multi-area production facility. Starting pay is $22.00/hour and up based on experience, with weekly pay, gainsharing bonuses, a strong 401(k) match and profit sharing,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent and willingness to obtain GED.
• Basic communication skills including reading and writing and computer literacy.
• Detail oriented with basic problem-solving ability and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work well with others and contribute to a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping equipment and run up to four sets of stamping machines.
• Inspect parts using gauges, calipers, micrometers and other measuring tools; troubleshoot basic issues.
• Perform routine operator and preventative maintenance.
• Move materials, products, supplies and scrap; complete quality checks and production records.
