Job summary

Charter Manufacturing Company is seeking a Stamping Operator for the second shift at the Charter Wire facility on Milwaukee's 81st Street. You will operate stamping equipment to produce parts, ensure quality, and support production goals.

Starting pay is $23.25/hour with growth based on experience. Second shift runs 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m. Includes weekly pay, gainsharing bonuses, 401(k) match with profit sharing, and comprehensive health benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or willingness to obtain
• Basic measurement and data entry skills are essential
• Able to read gauges and use measuring tools accurately
• Team oriented with ability to follow procedures and instructions

Responsibilities

• Operate stamping equipment on the second shift
• Inspect parts using gauges and measuring tools
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform routine maintenance
• Move materials, products, and scraps as needed to sustain production
• Complete quality checks and production records and maintain a clean, safe area
• Collaborate with Set-Up, Quality and Maintenance to improve equipment performance
