Job summary

MiTek Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled manufacturing operator in Tolleson, AZ. The role involves setting up machinery and stamping dies, performing tooling changes, and troubleshooting to keep production on schedule.

You will monitor presses and tooling, perform preventative maintenance, and uphold safety standards while working a standard shift with potential overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Language: communicate clearly with coworkers and management.
• Math: perform basic arithmetic with measurements.
• Reasoning: follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Computer: basic PC skills optional.
• Other skills: read a tape measure.
• Other qualifications: forklift experience preferred but not required.
• Physical demands: meet the physical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Setup machinery for manufacturing.
• Setup stamping dies in presses.
• Perform tooling changes according to schedules.
• Simple troubleshooting and tool/die repair to keep production on schedule.
• Perform required preventative maintenance.
• Monitor press, tooling and secondary systems for proper operation during manufacturing.
• Attendance and punctuality, including overtime as required.
