Job summary

MiTek Industries is seeking a manufacturing technician to set up machinery, handle stamping dies, and perform tooling changes on presses. The role requires basic troubleshooting to maintain production schedules and ongoing preventive maintenance. Strong attention to safety and punctual attendance is essential.

Experience with forklifts and overhead cranes is valued. Excellent communication and basic math skills are important for interpreting measurements and instructions on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience.
• A background in work safety and ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
• Effective communication with co-workers and management regarding work and safety issues.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery for manufacturing.
• Set stamping dies in presses and perform tooling changes.
• Troubleshoot tooling and perform basic repairs to keep production on schedule.
• Perform preventative maintenance and monitor equipment during production.
• Attend and be prepared for every shift start; overtime may be required.
