Job summary

Stellantis is seeking a Die Process Engineer to drive die processes from concept through production launch. You will optimize die construction, implement engineering changes, and support tooling throughput to meet program goals.

You will collaborate with stamping, product engineering, quality, assembly, and external suppliers to deliver high‑quality panels and robust tooling performance across multiple plants and international sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 6+ years die experience in die process, die design or die feasibility.
• Strong knowledge of press operations and die automation systems.
• Ability to read Forming Simulation, GD&T, FLD and CMM reports.

Responsibilities

• Review, define and optimize die processes for components.
• Determine part orientation, die type and process flow to meet targets.
• Develop preliminary 6-Box processes and NX models for tooling concept.
• Establish trim, form and secondary operations for quality and production.
• Evaluate previous program processes to identify risks and improvements.
• Collaborate with tooling suppliers to ensure compliance with standards.
• Validate die construction, process methods, and panel quality during build and buyoff.
• Support plant teams during die installation and industrialization.
• Lead quality loops to ensure panels meet formability, surface and dimensional requirements.
• Provide process feedback and drive improvements for throughput.
