Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to stabilize the accounting function during transition.
• Lead and coach an accounting team of about seven.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close and financial reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, balance-sheet schedules.
• Own inventory accounting, valuation, COGS, and related accounts.
• Analyze inventory discrepancies, adjustments, reserves, and COGS variances.
• Serve as primary technical resource for US GAAP and complex transactions.
• Evaluate processes and controls; drive improvements.
• Support audits and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Balance leadership with hands-on day-to-day tasks.
