The candidate will coordinate audits, strengthen internal controls and guide the accounting team through product implementations. A CPA and 10+ years in insurance accounting are preferred, with a track record of scaling finance functions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in insurance accounting leadership roles, preferably in corporate controller capacity.
• Strong knowledge of NAIC regulations and US statutory accounting.
• Experience coordinating audits and cross-functional reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly and quarterly close under US GAAP and statutory accounting.
• Lead NAIC statutory reporting and Blue Book filings.
• Coordinate annual statutory audits with external auditors.
• Prepare management and Board reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
• Partner with investment, actuarial, tax and other teams for timely reporting.
• Strengthen controls and drive expense efficiency, scale finance team.
