Job summary

Southern Staircase, part of Edge Building Solutions, is seeking a Stair Delivery & Installation Driver to join our Raleigh crew. This hands-on role installs custom stair systems on residential and commercial sites while handling deliveries.

You will read layouts, operate hand and power tools, load and unload materials up to 75 lbs, and drive a 26' box truck. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of framing, carpentry, or woodworking experience required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record (MVR).
• DOT medical card or ability to obtain one.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to lift 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install custom stair systems (straight & curved) on job sites.
• Use hand and power tools to cut, level, shim, and secure components.
• Read layouts and blueprints to complete installations accurately.
• Load, deliver, and unload materials up to 75 lbs.
• Drive a 26' box truck to and from work sites; assist in warehouse as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe, and professional work areas.

This is NOT a delivery-only role - you'll be actively installing custom stair systems on residential and commercial job sites while also handling deliveries.

What You Bring:

• Ability to lift 75 lbs regularly

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
