Job summary

Southern Staircase, part of Edge Building Solutions, seeks a Senior Stair Installer & Delivery Driver in Charlotte, NC. This hands-on, field-based role installs high-end stair systems while managing deliveries, reading blueprints, and ensuring safe, professional job sites.

You’ll drive a 26’ box truck, work Monday–Friday with overtime potential, and earn a $75K base salary plus a $15K sign-on bonus. Company vehicle provided, comprehensive benefits, and year-round, full-time work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of carpentry, framing, or woodworking experience (REQUIRED).
• Skilled with hand and power tools and accurate measuring.
• Able to read layouts and work independently on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install custom stair systems (straight & curved) on job sites.
• Cut, level, shim, and secure components using hand/power tools.
• Read and execute blueprints and layouts.
• Load, deliver, and unload materials (up to 75 lbs.).
• Drive a 26’ box truck to job sites and assist in the warehouse.

What You Bring:

• Valid driver’s license +clean MVR

• DOT medical card(or ability to obtain)

• Must be21+ years old

• Ability to lift 75lbsand work in outdoor/job site conditions
