Job summary

The Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta is seeking a Stage Technician to support ASO, Alliance Theatre, and High Museum events. You will operate and troubleshoot stage equipment and lead the stage crew in rehearsals and performances.

This role requires strong knowledge of concert production, hands-on use of power and hand tools, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook. Second shift, weekends and holidays, with flexibility as events dictate.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of concert production and stagecraft.
• Experience: minimum 3-year stage crew experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Ability to work within budgetary constraints.
• Must promote a positive, professional work atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Operate and/or troubleshoot all stage equipment.
• Instruct extra stagehands on operation of systems.
• Serve as stage technician for ASO, ASHL, ASYO, and non-ASO events in Symphony Hall and offsite venues.
• Maintain stage systems and equipment; keep maintenance records.
• Prepare and execute placement and movement of equipment for rehearsals and concerts.
