Job summary

Kinetic Light is seeking two Stage Managers to share all stage management duties for the 2027 season. One will lead Intimate Night rehearsals and performances in New York before touring to Houston; the second will lead The Next TiMes in San Francisco and You Caught Me on Your Shoulders premiering in Philadelphia.

Qualifications

• Dance stage management experience.
• Strong understanding of rehearsal processes.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience scheduling and coordinating logistics in fast-paced environments.
• Proficient with Google Apps, Slack, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of QLab.
• Availability for evenings and weekends.
• Up-to-date COVID vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Schedule rehearsal timelines, call times, and location logistics.
• Prepare rehearsal spaces and mark floor plans to match stage dimensions.
• Document rehearsals and upload notes to driving documents and reports.
• Act as primary liaison between choreographer, directors, and dancers; communicate changes.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety policies.
