Job summary

Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group is seeking a Lighting Technician to support the lighting team for performances, rehearsals and training. You will set up, operate and maintain lighting systems while keeping detailed cue and maintenance records.

The role requires the ability to work under pressure and a collaborative mindset. Responsibilities include running follow spot/cue tracks, updating documentation, assisting with inventory, and supporting cross-training for console operators.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional Lighting Technician experience or equivalent training.
• Basic knowledge of testing equipment for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Ability to obtain OSHA 10 card.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to verification of right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Set up, use and maintain lighting systems and equipment for performances, rehearsals and training.
• Run follow spot/deck cue tracks and maintain cue track documentation.
• Inspect and maintain lighting equipment and update maintenance records.
• Assist with inventory and cross-training for backup roles.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and Cirque du Soleil safety standards.
