Entertainment Technology Partners in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a lighting equipment technician to ensure readiness of lighting gear before deployment and support show preparation activities on-site.

The role requires 1–2 years in live production or equipment handling with lighting knowledge. This full-time, on-site position offers a pay range of $16.50–$21.63 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical training or certification is a plus.
• 1–2 years of experience in live production or equipment handling, preferably with lighting equipment.
• Knowledge of lighting systems, fixtures, accessories, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong time management and ability to follow tasks through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment readiness by performing visual and functional inspections of lighting fixtures, control systems, and accessories before deployment.
• Prepare accurate show orders by verifying equipment condition, cleanliness, firmware updates, and order accuracy.
• Validate performance and reliability by testing lighting systems using appropriate consoles and accessories to simulate real-world event conditions.
• Support equipment quality standards by identifying discrepancies and communicating equipment issues requiring repair or replacement.
• Maintain inventory readiness by assisting with post-show returns, documenting damaged equipment, and returning gear to inventory.
• Keep operations organized by maintaining clean, efficient prep and storage areas and following established quality-control procedures.
• Collaborate across disciplines by supporting video, LED, and audio teams during show preparation activities when needed.
• Contribute to warehouse operations during high-volume preparation periods and other equipment handling activities.
