Job summary

LMG is seeking a Lighting Technician in Las Vegas to ensure gear is ready and reliable for shows. You will inspect lighting fixtures, verify condition and firmware, and test systems to ensure flawless field execution. This role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and timely task completion.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of live production or lighting experience. Benefits cover health and retirement plans, PTO, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification is a plus.
• Experience with live production or equipment handling, preferably lighting gear.
• Knowledge of lighting systems, fixtures, and troubleshooting basics.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment readiness by performing visual and functional inspections before deployment.
• Prepare show orders by verifying equipment condition and firmware updates.
• Test lighting systems to simulate real-world event conditions for reliability.
• Identify discrepancies and communicate issues needing repair or replacement.
• Assist with post-show returns and inventory management.
• Maintain clean prep and storage areas and follow quality-control procedures.
• Support video, LED, and audio teams during show preparation as needed.
• Contribute to warehouse operations during high-volume periods.
