Job summary

Bloomingdale’s Inc. is seeking a Manager of Workforce Strategy and Planning in New York. This role partners with the Staffing team to drive staffing analytics that support Bloomingdale’s strategic priorities and maximize sales and profit.

The Manager will lead analytics behind staffing initiatives, publish monthly reporting, and forecast weekly hours for schedule generation. Strong retail analytics experience and advanced MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree required.
• 3–4 years of work experience in retail or analytics.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze complex data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and MS-Access.
• Ability to communicate findings to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead staffing analytics and develop strategies aligned to the company priorities.
• Publish monthly reporting and provide actionable recommendations.
• Forecast and budget weekly hours for scheduling and store coverage.
• Monitor Store Hours platform and adjust to maximize productivity.
• Create Ad Hoc reports for stores and central merchant initiatives.
