Job summary

People Ready in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Staffing Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a variety of daily tasks. You will support the Territory Manager with recruiting, applicant processing, and matching workers to open positions.

Responsibilities include payroll processing, customer relationship building, scheduling, and ensuring safety/compliance. The role requires strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Customer service and/or sales experience.
• Strong people skills and the ability to relate to management and staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Territory Manager with daily operations and recruiting.
• Recruit new applicants and match them with open positions.
• Assist applicants through the employment process and onboarding.
• Enter orders from customers into the system and maintain records.
• Process payroll for temporary workers in a timely manner.
• Promote safety and compliance as a core value.
• Set appointments and meet with customers as needed.
