Surge Staffing is seeking a motivated Staffing Specialist to join our team in an entry-level role focused on sales and customer service. This full-time internal position emphasizes recruiting, candidate screening, onboarding, and building strong client relationships.

You will source candidates through multiple channels, match skills to client needs, and pursue new business opportunities while supporting branch operations and revenue growth. Local travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of sales and/or customer service experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in recruiting, staffing, HR, customer service, or business development preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and temporary employees.
• Recruit, screen, interview, and onboard qualified candidates.
• Source candidates through job boards, resume databases, referrals, and recruiting platforms.
• Match candidate skills and experience with client staffing needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and temporary associates.
• Conduct follow-up calls to ensure employee satisfaction and successful placements.
• Generate and develop new business opportunities through sales and networking efforts.
• Perform client service calls and outside sales visits to grow partnerships.
• Promote Surge Staffing services and identify additional staffing solutions.
• Support branch operations through administrative and data entry tasks.
• Assist with employee coaching, performance management, and retention efforts.
• Resolve employee and client concerns professionally and timely.
• Support branch growth initiatives and contribute to revenue goals.
