Job summary

TrueBlue, Inc. is seeking a Staffing Specialist in Buffalo, NY, to join our fast-paced team. You will support the Territory Manager by recruiting applicants, guiding candidates through the employment process, and matching them with open positions for our customers.

You will handle payroll for temporary workers, set appointments, meet customers, and promote safety and compliance while delivering exceptional service. Your role offers growth across diverse operational areas in a dynamic company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Customer service and/or sales experience.
• Possess effective people skills with the ability to relate to management and employees.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and multi-task effectively.
• Basic knowledge in using Microsoft Office.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.

Overview

We are searching for a motivated individual who enjoys variety in their day and thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our team as a Staffing Specialist. This individual will support the Territory Manager by assisting with daily operations, including helping recruit new applicants, assisting applicants through the employment process, matching applicants with rewarding work, ensuring our customers' open positions are filled, setting appointments, meeting with new and existing customers, generating sales and more. Salary Range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience and geographic location.

Please note that actual compensation offered may vary based on local pay requirements, and will meet or exceed state-specific minimum wage or salary thresholds.

Physical and Work Requirements

Branch work environment with frequent customer interaction, constantly operating a computer, phone, and other office equipment. Employees are frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear for long periods of time.
