Job summary

MAU Staffing Specialists process work orders, recruit, screen, orient, and hire personnel for client sites in line with order specifications. They partner with clients to ensure safe work environments, legal hiring practices, and timely placements of quality candidates.

This role requires strong organizational skills, adherence to company policies, and effective communication to maintain excellent client service and efficient staffing operations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • One year of professional work experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, supervise, counsel, evaluate, and discipline staff.
  • Onboard new associates to established standards.
  • Administer company policies.
  • Maintain applicant flow through ads and recruiting sources.
  • Review work orders and interact with clients.
  • Develop orientations for new and current staff.
  • Set up pay and bill rates with the manager.
  • Administer assessments as required.
  • Receive, process, and analyze customer work orders.
  • Process merit, tenure, or incentive programs.
  • Submit billing documents for each order.
  • Resolve invoice issues with customers.
  • Manage workers' compensation cases and injury reporting.
  • Attend unemployment and workers’ comp processes.
  • Visit client sites to maintain service levels.

Job description

Summary/Objective

The Staffing Specialist position processes work orders from customers, recruits, screens, orients, and hires personnel to work at client sites based on order specifications. Staffing Specialists are tasked with working closely with clients to ensure the following: safe work environments for our workforce, legal compliance in hiring/firing, and new placements of quality candidates.

Essential Functions
  • Hire, supervise, counsel, evaluate, discipline, and recommend changes in employee
  • Consistently orient/on-board new associates to standards established for each
  • Administer company policies and
  • Maintain applicant flow through placement of ads, development of recruiting sources, and analysis of weekly and monthly recruiting source reports.
  • Regularly review work orders and interact with
  • Develop and update orientations for new and current
  • Set up new pay and bill rates with manager’s
  • Administer assessments as required by
  • Receive, process, and analyze work orders from
  • Process merit, tenure, or incentive
  • Submit Billing Source Documents as appropriate for each
  • Communicate and resolve with customer any invoice non-
  • Manage cases of injured employees during working hours to include accident investigation and completion of Accident/Injury Report and Worker's Compensation Packet.

  • Maintain excellent level of customer service by visiting client site at predetermined
  • Maintain excellent level of customer service by establishing predetermined levels of candidates in Kanban pools to ensure quick turnaround for job orders.

Work Environment or Working Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Further, this job may require occasional presence at customer sites, both in administrative and manufacturing environments. Customer sites sometimes include process manufacturing equipment and heavy power industrial vehicles. Environments may vary from non- temperature controlled environments to GMP clean room required.

  • Ability to lift 5 – 20lbs periodically and 50lbs on occasion
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 4 hours
  • Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day
  • Ability to sit for up to 4 hours
Travel

Limited travel will be required but prefer the ability to travel overnight.
