Summary/Objective
The Part-time Recruiting Coordinator position is responsible for providing administrative support, screening/interviewing candidates. Recruiting Coordinators are tasked with working closely with Staffing Specialists to ensure they are matching quality candidates with job openings. This position also supports administrative tasks such as receptionist duties and candidate orientation processing.
Essential Functions
- Complete several human resources tasks for their organization mainly related to recruiting, interviewing, and orienting new employees.
- Conduct candidate screenings (in person and via phone call) and schedule appointments for interviews, pre-screening assessments, client interviews, and orientations.
- Answer incoming phone calls.
- Complete background checks, education verifications and drug-related testing.
- Manage recruitment communications, providing accurate information about vacancies, coordinating orientation activities, designing effective strategies for improved office logistics, and attending branch meetings.
- Provide overall administrative support to the employment/recruitment area, including maintaining and processing documentation, records, and ensure the Applicant Tracking System is up to date.
- Regularly review work orders and interact with Staffing Specialists and Operations Manager to ensure staffing goals are met.
- Communicate candidate status with Staffing Specialist following orientation.
- Conduct monthly branch audits and maintain appropriate inventory for client-required shirts, PPE, etc.
- Helping with receptionist duties such as signing candidates in and helping applicants fill out applications.
- Maintain employment records and conduct audits in coordination with recruiting leadership.

Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma OR GED
- 1 year of professional work experience

Preferred Education and Experience:
- Staffing industry or manufacturing HR experience a plus
- Experience working with an HRIS or ATS
- 2-year degree/Associates degree
- Advanced MS Office skills
Supervisory Responsibility:
There are no direct supervisory responsibilities. The highest performers will be team players who are well-versed in mentoring.
