Bloomingdale's in New York seeks a Staffing Specialist to develop and implement staff schedules for store Sales and Sales Support teams. You will optimize staffing to meet customer service and workload demands, balancing hours and controlling expenses.

The role requires strong organization, analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while collaborating with store leadership and business managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university.
• Practices open and continuous communication, values keeping others informed, effectively presenting information in a clear, concise manner.
• Excellent leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across functional lines and at many levels.
• Ability to think creatively, strategically and technically.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs.

Responsibilities

• Input schedule requests, perform edits and release schedules on a weekly basis in line with state and company requirements
• Balance scheduled hours in each store to reduce expense exposure
• Open and balance positions on a weekly basis. Run and analyze weekly reports, making recommendations to better support stores and reduce expense
• Maintain ongoing communication with senior store leadership team and business managers
• Facilitate training on scheduling system and address system concerns
