Job summary

Elwood Staffing is seeking a Staffing Recruiter to advertise, recruit, screen, onboard and place associates in branch operations. The role supports top-line sales performance and branch objectives while ensuring compliance and client satisfaction.

The position emphasizes independent judgment in candidate placement, adherence to policies, and providing superior customer service in a fast-paced staffing environment. Monday–Friday, with potential overtime or weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service role preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and to resolve issues with urgency.
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute recruiting, order fulfillment, and service operations to meet 100% on-time order fulfillment.
• Interview applicants in a timely manner and make hiring decisions for employment; offer job assignments to qualified individuals.
• Administer pre-employment tests and enter results per SOPs.
• Ensure completion of all pre-employment paperwork and review for accuracy and legal compliance.
• Maintain open channels for customer feedback through quality control calls to clients and associates.
• Make outbound sales calls to proactively market candidates to customers.
• Communicate regularly with sales staff about order status and client satisfaction.
• Counsel, discipline, and terminate temporary associates when appropriate and document per SOPs.
• Ensure service operations comply with company policies and regulations.
