Job summary

Elwood Staffing is seeking a Staffing Recruiter to advertise, recruit, screen, onboard, and place candidates in our branch. This role supports sales goals, branch operations, and client service, with emphasis on bilingual Spanish/English communication.

You will conduct interviews, administer tests, ensure paperwork compliance, and maintain strong client and candidate relationships while contributing to growth and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Interview applicants in a legal, timely manner and extend offers to qualified individuals.
• Administer pre-employment tests and enter results according to SOPs.
• Ensure completion of pre-employment paperwork and compliance with applicable law.
• Maintain communication with clients and associates to ensure satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Execute recruiting, order fulfillment, and service operations to meet 100% on-time order fulfillment - all the time.
• Interview applicants in a legal, timely manner, make hiring decisions; offer job assignments to qualified individuals.
• Administer pre-employment tests and enter results according to SOPs.
• Ensure completion of all pre-employment paperwork and review for accuracy and compliance.
• Consistently make quality control calls to clients and associates to gather feedback.
• Make outbound sales calls to pro-actively skill market candidates to customers.
• Communicate with sales staff about order status and client satisfaction.
• Counsel and terminate temporary associates when appropriate and document procedures.
• Ensure service operations comply with company policies and regulations.
