Job summary

Elwood Staffing is seeking a Staffing Recruiter to advertise, recruit, screen, onboard, and place candidates in branches. You will support top line performance and branch operations while ensuring client expectations on attendance, attitude, and quality of work are met.

The role requires independent judgment in hiring, counseling, and terminating temporary staff, with daily duties including interviews, paperwork, and client communication.

Qualifications

• Bilingual: fluent in Spanish and English.
• Experience in a customer service role preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and resolve issues with urgency.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute recruiting, order fulfillment, and service operations to meet 100% on-time order fulfillment.
• Interview applicants in a timely, legal manner and make hiring decisions.
• Administer pre-employment tests and enter results.
• Ensure completion of pre-employment paperwork and compliance.
• Make outbound calls to promote candidate skill matches to clients.
