The role ensures sites are adequately staffed to meet client care needs and manages absences, coverage, overtime, and scheduling adjustments based on census and turnover. You will collaborate with program leadership, publish schedules, verify new hire schedules, monitor attendance, and prepare payroll files ahead of time.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; Associate degree or higher preferred.
• 2 years healthcare scheduling experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily shift schedules with program leadership.
• Publish schedules in scheduling software and notify coverage 24 hours ahead.
• Verify schedules during new hire orientation.
• Ensure appropriate staffing by comparing staffing ratios.
• Anticipate staffing needs and reassign staff as needed.
• Handle call-outs and PTO requests; arrange coverage.
• Address excessive absenteeism with leadership and HR.
• Manage overtime allocation and track 'Need for OT' documentation.
• Process PTO requests and shift switches.
• Review timesheets for accuracy and finalize payroll files 24 hours before close.
• Audit external camera footage for timesheet accuracy and attendance.
• Oversee per diem staffing and ensure minimum hours.
• Support audits with requested records.
• Perform other duties as needed.
