Job summary

Vibra Healthcare is seeking a Staffing Coordinator / Scheduler to join our team. This role focuses on coordinating unit staffing plans and scheduling nursing personnel hours to ensure optimal patient care across Vibra facilities.

Ideal candidates have healthcare administration experience, strong organizational skills, and a solid understanding of regulatory standards. Responsibilities include HR form support and maintaining time and attendance records to support leadership decisions.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Staffing Coordinator / Scheduler to join our team!

Hospital Details

The Meadows of Central Massachusetts is an 82-bed transitional care facility located alongside Vibra Hospital of Western Massachusetts – Central Campus. The Meadows provides comprehensive skilled nursing and rehabilitation services for individuals in need of specialized medical care before they can return home or to another care setting. Many of our patients have suffered serious injuries or illnesses. As a result, they require day-to-day help while they work toward recovery and regain their independence. Our comprehensive, personalized approach to patient care incorporates therapeutic intervention and medical management. We specialize in providing short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and respite care services.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the coordination of all unit staffing plans, participating in the assessment of staffing needs, scheduling nursing personnel hours, adjusting staffing as required, and calling in replacement personnel at the discretion of nursing leadership. Additionally this position is responsible for assisting with various human resources forms and processes, including but not limited to status changes, new hire forms, requisitions, arranging follow up interviews with applicants, and tracking evaluations and absences. Performs timecard edits and runs appropriate time and attendance reports.

Required Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Experience in scheduling and time and attendance tracking preferred.
• Previous administrative experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
