Qualifications

• Experience as Staffing Coordinator or similar role in healthcare preferred.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in scheduling software and MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and resolve conflicts.
• High school diploma or equivalent; HR/healthcare admin training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate shift coverage.
• Coordinate with department heads to understand staffing needs.
• Handle shift changes, call-offs, and scheduling conflicts promptly.
• Maintain accurate attendance and hours worked records.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new staff.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure labor-law compliance.
• Provide scheduling support and address inquiries from staff.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to staffing process improvements.
