Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Staffing Coordinator for Care Link on a PRN daytime schedule. The role involves identifying, coordinating and assigning staffing resources across clinical units to match patient census and acuity, using scheduling software and input from managers.

The position requires 3 years of administrative/staffing experience and high accuracy with computers. A bachelor’s degree is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required. Hospital experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare or related field preferred.
• 3 years of administrative/staffing/payroll experience and customer service required.
• Experience using computers with a high degree of accuracy required.
• Hospital environment experience in clinical service support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for identifying, coordinating and assigning all available staffing resources for clinical units across the system.
• Ensures clinical units are adequately staffed according to patient census and acuity using scheduling software and input from managers.
• Provides continuous monitoring of staff resources and gathers feedback from administrative resources.

The Coordinator ensures that all clinical units are adequately staffed according to patient census and acuity by providing continuous monitoring of staff resources utilizing input from computerized scheduling software, requests from individual business units and feedback from administrative recourses.

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare or related field Preferred

Work Experience

• 3 years of administrative/staffing/payroll experience/customer service Required
• Must have experience using computers with a high degree of accuracy Required
• Experience in a hospital environment and in clinical service support functions Preferred
