We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Staffing Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating staffing needs, ensuring adequate coverage, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Preference will be given to LPN applicants, with a minimum requirement of CMA.
Responsibilities include:
- Schedule staff to ensure quality resident care within administrative guidelines.
- Order and manage inventory of medical supplies to meet facility and resident needs.
- Maintain accurate records of pricing, purchases, and related information.
- Provide patient care as needed, including working on the floor to support nursing staff and ensure high-quality resident care.
- Regularly check and adjust stock levels.
- Update and maintain contact information for resident care employees and department managers.
- Report employee tardiness or absenteeism to the Director of Nursing (DON) as per facility policy.
- Collaborate with DON and administrator to schedule modified work duty employees per policy.
- Educate employees on the timekeeping system and ensure accurate entries for time worked, leave, and day off requests.
- Complete and post monthly nursing schedules, ensuring unit coverage and coordinating with DON.
- Assist in completing and filing reports as per established policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medication Assistant (CMA) in the state of Oklahoma.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in nursing; preference given to experience in long term care.
- Experience in staff scheduling and maintaining accurate records for long term health care facilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of inventory management and supply acquisition processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and team skills.
- Ability to work within established policies and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of staff and healthcare professionals.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records and inventories.
